I’m going to see if I can replicate the writing setup I have in Scrivener in iA Writer. I only use a tiny subset of Scrivener's features these days. Mainly separate docs for different sections of an article. Then Export as a Word file via Compile in Scrivener to stitch the sections into a finished document.
iA Writer folders in iCloud should be able to replicate that.
And make it simpler to move between Mac, iPad, and iPhone for adding to a writing project.

@ianRobinson@mastodon.social The only thing I would miss is the card presentation, so I'm not going to do that. For shorter pieces, though, absolutely. Even Bear and Ulysses and Obsidian can be made to work, of course. I have iA Writer using an Obsidian writing folder ...
