I really hate the English voice acting on the few animes I&#39;ve accidentally heard English dubs of. It&#39;s not even that it&#39;s not in the original language, there&#39;s something idiosyncratically unnatural about the delivery and I don&#39;t know why. Are they doing a stylised imitation of the Japanese line readings?
