  It's #WaterfallWednesday and this one came to my mind. You might see a nice waterfall. I spent 3h there. Really! In hindsight I didn't know where all the time went but I enjoyed seeing the #waterfall from all kinds of angles and shutter speeds. 3h very well invested livetime. #photography #landscapephotography #bayern

  I wanted to post mountain photos more regularly again! So here's one trail from last year where I started really early to avoid the heat. It was a hike that I did alone and met just like ... 2 or 3 people. Oh and I was glad to have a water filter with me! I spotted a spring on my way up and - knowing that I'd come pack to it later - I didn't have to use my water sparingly. Enjoy! #hiking #mountainMonday #alps #alpen #nature #wandern

  #FotoVorschlag 'Gegenlicht' I drove to this spot a couple of times during the year. That day, I didn't know what to expect either but I was just right in time to have the sun rising over the #mountains and the #fog on the lake. Just 15 min later, the fog had vanished - and I was just glad for the experience I made. #photography

  'Alte oder besondere Bäume' #FotoVorschlag 'old or special Trees' This #tree was really special to me. I saw it on a winter / snowshoe hike. Daher mal beim @lfu.bayern.de nachgeschaut, um eine Meinung auch mit Fakten zu prüfen: - kein Niedrigwasser: 55 (28%) - niedrig: 39 (20%) - sehr niedrig: 98 (49%) - neuer Niedrigstwert: 6 (3%) Bei 28% der Messstellen stimmt das ja immerhin - noch.   The water level at the reservoir to which I'm usually cycling (also in the evening) is now so low that fish have to be rescued from isolated "pockets" of water. The water level is now 5m below summer-average ... the last time I've seen that was when the level was lowered by intent for some improvements & repair. Now it's "simply" a lack of rain ...   During our vacation recently, I tried to practice more foreground and composition for .. not for documenting our vacation, but to capture more a feeling that I had at this moment. This is one of the photos. Here it felt "better" to me to set the focus to the red poppies because at this moment, they just drew more attention as we were walking towards the gate.   'Touri-Hotspot' #FotoVorschlag Here you can see two hot spots: The mountain from where the photo is taken is a very well known destination for quick hikes as it's well reachable from munich. And also the lake down there: the far left-shore is also a very well known destination for recreation, bathing etc. In Summer, sometimes the road along the shore is closed as there are too many cars parking there.   Our #silentsunday was spent on a mountain trail half an hour from our home. About 400-500m elevation along such a trail. And we didn't meet anybody. Maybe because the location is too unspectacular: no great summit views, no summit at all, nothing to buy drinks or food - just a trail through patches of sun and shade with quite a few flowers along the trail.
