A friend recently wrote me on Instagram that she can understand me, leaving the platform. Her wishes / pain points: * reduce my screentime * get out of doomscrolling * Not having to check every post whether it's AI generated (= Authenticity) * funny cat videos * book recommendations Quite Fediverse ... what she doesn't mention: privacy, big tech, federation And then I thought about the websites promoting the fediverse. Well - it's just adressing different target groups.
