Just watched THE CHASE (1946), which was a mess. Not terrible, per se, but oddly disjointed with inconsistencies that made it feel like two or three different films crammed into one. Peter Lorre as the weary and put-upon Gino was the best part. #FilmNoir #OldHollywood

Wasted today ("wasted", sez I, as if I don't teach myself odd shit all the time) trying to learn to edit APKs because as of now you can't disable haptic feedback in Loops. I don't mind waiting for updates to janky or sparse UI in a new app, but no option to disable a setting like haptic feedback has me crawling up the walls. (It's a sensory thing, plus it spikes my anxiety for some reason.) I figured it'd be tricky to learn, but it took me all day to NOT manage to...
