  You know what's worse than an email with "Kindly note the attachment"? An email with "You have a new document in your inbox. Simply log in to your online banking to retrieve the document." And I am not even talking about the "simply"... I am customer at an insurance company that sends me these documents directly via a PHP encrypted email. It *is* possible to use email for secure communication. But seemingly not for german banks.

  Today I've been kayaking around Seil. And as I passed Easdale along the way I had to stop and see the island and the remains of the slate-industry here. And obviously enjoy the view. This was far more impressive than the bridge over the atlantic - though that was fun 😁 Oh. Should you go kayaking there: beware of the tidal current in and out of Cuan Sound. It can turn into a maelstrom. And I did hear that Cuan Sound! It didn't sound healthy! #kayaking #slate #easdale

  So: One year ago I got my new paddle. A "roofing batten" as some german paddlers call it. And just yesterday a passing sailor commemted.on the beautiful paddle. It has been my trusted thrust-companion on over 500km on oceans, seas, lakes and rivers through all conditions up to 5 beaufort in this last year.   Why is it so damned hard to get a decent Invoice when one buys something. Especially online but also offline. A slip of (digital) paper containing some minimal things and we'RE all good! How hard can that be? You want my money? Fine! I'm happy to give it to you!   I am reaaaaaallllly irritated by OIDC. ANd my websearch-foo is letting me down. So when a client does the whole OIDC dance, everything is secure and safe. But ... How do I make sure when I want others to set up OIDC on my service that the OIDC-provider actually is trustworthy for a certain email-domain? How do I make sure that the user doesn't just configure a fake OP for a domain that then harvests all the logins and passwords? What did I miss? #OIDC #oauth
