You know what's worse than an email with "Kindly note the attachment"? An email with "You have a new document in your inbox. Simply log in to your online banking to retrieve the document." And I am not even talking about the "simply"... I am customer at an insurance company that sends me these documents directly via a PHP encrypted email. It *is* possible to use email for secure communication. But seemingly not for german banks.
