I&#x27;m very disappointed in the Netherlands election results, but not nearly as panicked as my Dutch friends. Perhaps I am too optimistic about the resilience of a multiparty parliamentary system, or maybe I’ve just been too acclimated by US politics I hope we look back at this one as a wake-up call about proactively engaging citizens beyond urban centers.

New instance means I should be able to migrate my network, but all the old posts will remain captive on an old server. This is a good argument for POSSE, I suppose, but I&#x27;d prefer even &quot;throwaway&quot; posts to have permanent URLs.
