    Where I currently live, the weather is the most unpredictable of any of the seven US states I&amp;#39;ve lived in. There will be a sunny day forecast, mild wind, and then a thunderstorm rolls in. After the thunderstorm, the forecast changes to say RAIN OMG AND 20MPH GUSTS. TORNADO WATCH 🌪️. It&amp;#39;s like, are the meteorologists using a Magic 8-ball?

    My friends tell me I&amp;#39;m naïve when I tell them I don&amp;#39;t think my students are using AI. But I do check. They get screened by multiple apps, both in Blackboard and outside it. What I hear from my students about AI is resentment and anxiety. They resent AI being part of their education. They are anxious because they believe it has prepared them poorly. Being a sycophant rather than an educator. They are also angry that AI preys on people with mental illness, and the outcomes of tha...
