Now that they've made a darker Nancy Drew series with murder and ghosts, I can't wait for the mercenary-themed reboot of the Hardy Boys

My wife just asked why I couldn't copy and paste what someone wants to do with their assets into a will template and call it a day and now my head hurts.

@Sweetshark@chaos.social @Flux @arstechnica I've seen things you people wouldn't believe... magazines sold for a dollar off the shoulder of Orion... I watched bait and switch terms of service glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain... Time to die.

@YakyuNightOwl @blogdiva It was more of an even trade. Israel received unrefined Uranium, which RSA had huge stores of, and access to remote locations in the Indian Ocean for testing (see, e.g., the Vela Incident) and shared its tech in exchange. Doesn't reduce its friendly relationship with the RSA, but it wasn't just Israel arbitrarily giving RSA the bomb.

@YakyuNightOwl @blogdiva Ya, arbitrary was the wrong word there. Something closer to selflessly would have been a better choice.

@ianbetteridge Windows 11 plays nicer with a few games, but that's about it. I've spent way too many hours vivisecting 11 to remove the built in malware without breaking too many necessary features.

The state of Georgia believes it is a felony to say that Jonathan Salcedo murdered a protestor at Cop City. So do not, under any circumstances, say that Jonathan Salcedo is a murderer who murdered a protestor at Cop City. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2023/may/13/cop-city-activists-arrests-georgia-law
