  No, hiding sidebar toggle button under your logo is NOT a good idea. Think about it from user’s POV: user needs to open a sidebar. They start to look for an icon that looks like a sidebar.   It’s always funny to me when a website has to explain what to do with it because there are no obvious controls or visible content. That’s a problem of your own creation. It’s even funnier when the interaction icon itself is confusing enough that it needs explanatory text beside it. Choose a better icon, or just use the text.   I tried to copy a link to a shopping list from Ikea web app. Of course, it’s an app, so links don’t work, you need app to “support” copying a link. For some other reason, Ikea decided that just copying a link is boring, so they implemented system “Share” menu insted. Now, Share menu would be cool if they had a Copy option. They don’t. You are allowed to send this link to an app but not to clipboard. Okay, I thought. Let’s choose the least complex option. I choose Notes. ... 1/3

  Another problem with hover states: buttons are invisible until you hover over them. People can’t click on buttons they can’t see! For example, here, they put most-used actions directly over each email. Presumably that should help you sort your mail faster, processing some letters without even opening them.   Normally, when you hold down the Down or Up key on a keyboard, a webpage moves a little, then pauses briefly, and only then starts scrolling continuously. I think this is related to how key repeat works in the OS. In Safari, however, the page scrolls continuously from the moment you hold the key down—no hiccups. Pretty cool! #Safari #Scrolling
