I&#39;ve been re-learning Hill Runes by Peter Maxwell Davies, a solo guitar piece I performed on my second graduate recital in 2009. It&#39;s been a total trip. Part of me is flummoxed I was *ever* able to play the piece; then, suddenly, something just *clicks* and my hands remember the painstaking choreography we rehearsed endless times nearly fourteen years ago.
