Had my pediatric clinicals at the daycare today. Worked with kids from 6 months to 4 years. It seems like it&#39;s just going to be playing with kids for a few hours, but when you see them all together like that and you can walk through the hall and interact with different age groups in different rooms it throws the developmental differences between, say, an 8 month old baby and a 14 month old baby into sharp relief. #nursing #nurse #childlesscatman

Had my first hospital clinical yesterday. Had a great opportunity to care for my patient, but maybe as importantly to care for his caregivers. I got a chance to meet his spouse and another relative and talk to them about what they were going through and provide education on support. It’s easy to lose track of the caregivers. It shouldn’t be.
