Had my first hospital clinical yesterday. Had a great opportunity to care for my patient, but maybe as importantly to care for his caregivers. I got a chance to meet his spouse and another relative and talk to them about what they were going through and provide education on support. It’s easy to lose track of the caregivers. It shouldn’t be.
