I&#39;m doing a &quot;listening party&quot; for my new album on Monday 13th, 10pm UK time. I am struggling to describe the sound and style, it hovers in a limbo between many things. My new record is out. 20 years since the last one, would you believe it. I usually find it massively irritating when people compare themselves to established artists, as if there is some sort of equivalence, but I feel forced to do so in an attempt to convey the style of music as briefly as possible. So I&#39;ll just say it&#39;s something like Brian Eno&#39;s generative ambient, combined with Meshuggah. With a dash of Eliane Radigue perhaps. It is actually not like any of those...

@sean_ae are you vege or vegan at all? I have to say that since cats entered our household about 6 years ago, our meat consumption reduced about 90%. I feel guilty eating plants as well though, to be honest

@sean_ae yeah and I feel the arrogance of a human deciding that what their senses can perceive is enough of a basis for deciding if other beings are &quot;conscious&quot;. also fully aware of the contradiction in feeling a duty to reduce meat consumption because of a (possibly imaginary) connection to some cats, but the little guys couldn&#39;t care less and are burning through more than a compensatory daily quota of fish
