Is #Mastodon the next target of #AI models? For the past couple of days we&#39;re seeing an increase of traffic from &quot;AI Clouds&quot; on our Mastodon instance, possibly for data scraping. Does anyone else have noticed a similar behaviour?

In 2026 as everything is getting connected to a network (even when not needed) the level of incompetence, lack of basic knowledge and understanding of network basics is astonishing. And that comes from businesses installing critical devices: alarm systems, automation, industrial equipment.

The idea of &quot;too dangerous to be released&quot; reminds me a lot of the Oppenheimer movie. We risk destroying the world: let&#39;s do it anyway. What I truly can&#39;t understand is how people can be excited by the lies and blatant bullshit spread by some tech people. But then, I remind myself how someone said he doesn&#39;t like smart people. And everything turns a bit more clear. #AI #glassdoor #anthropic #openai

Working with a company that is trying to implement #AI in their workflows: - let&#39;s skip for the moment the environmental damage you created ( #ESG ) - you&#39;re trying to create a library of documents where the solution is a #database - each document is 18 pages long: that&#39;s another #environmental damage - your productivity will entirely rely on someone else - the solution is method, not the tool And yet, here we are.
