The idea of "too dangerous to be released" reminds me a lot of the Oppenheimer movie. We risk destroying the world: let's do it anyway. What I truly can't understand is how people can be excited by the lies and blatant bullshit spread by some tech people. But then, I remind myself how someone said he doesn't like smart people.
