@anelki cook, lmk how it goes. I found it easy-ish to try out since I was already using firefox -- plugins and account/sharing etc all work the same. I like not being constantly reminded of my tabs and being able to group them into workspaces.

So, I&#39;m pulling up my stakes and moving instances. There is no drama or reason why, I&#39;ve just been feeling like a change. It&#39;s hard to overstate how useful it is to be able to watch a web archiving crawler do its work (the actual browser windows) while also being able to inspect, edit and click on the the queue of URLs yet to be crawled. Maybe there are other solutions to this, but I&#39;ve yet to see any software do better at this than @webrecorder&#39;s Browsertrix https://browsertrix.com. I recently spent a bit of time at work seeing how well @webrecorder &#39;s (excellent) Browsertrix and ArchiveWebPage work at archiving Facebook posts: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1uYTlUZeqsKyf_GHcIF5YYFHn2E5-NjdTh4FLoziAaVI/ It looks like the automated behavior for scrolling and interacting with the page may need adjusting. I&#39;ve made a career out of building, repairing, and preserving the web. Now, closer to the end of my career than the beginning, I see I haven&#39;t spent enough time learning methods for how to dismantle and disentangle the web from work and lived experience. How to practice viable and effective strategies for resisting automation &amp; convincing decision makers when to turn things off.

I never noticed how #Maintenance has the French word &quot;maintenant&quot; in it, which means &quot;now&quot;, and is composed of the words hand (main) and to hold (tenir). It speaks to how maintenance requires attention and engagement with things as they are. It also reminds me of one of the perks of maintenance work is that it grounds and connects you to the present.
