I never noticed how #Maintenance has the French word "maintenant" in it, which means "now", and is composed of the words hand (main) and to hold (tenir). It speaks to how maintenance requires attention and engagement with things as they are. It also reminds me of one of the perks of maintenance work is that it grounds and connects you to the present.

@edsu I agree - all kinds of cleaning and fixing offer big opportunities for self-connection, flow, and satisfaction with the change you've produced. I found that I just had to declare that I love it, and it becomes true.
