The dwarven numerals also called Rúmilian were not in fact the "real" or original Rúmilian numerals (see picture). The system was probably a Dwarven innovation/adaptation. Note that the Rúmilian numeral for 1 could be related to the dwarven 1. Rúmilian 4 and 5 seems to have been used by the Dwarves for 2 and 3. The existence of numerals for 11 and 12 indicates that the original Rúmilian system was duodecimal.

Title pages of the "Malleus Maleficorum" 1486 and 1669. I prefer the XVe century style.

One of Tolkien's calligraphy. He wrote a part of the One Ring poem in English using the Tengwar in a "full phonetic English mode". A "full mode" of the tengwar is a mode with tengwar used both for consonants and vowels. Like on the Doors of Moria. Some common English words are shortened: 'of' and 'the', written with an extended tengwa. Tolkien made 3 mistakes. #tolkien #tengwar #oneringpoem

My "notdef glyph" within Elvish (angle) brackets — brackets are always angle brackets in Tengwar — and some other punctuation glyphs that are not used as Latin punctuation, these will be explained in the PDF provided with the Tengwar Fonts.

What is the difference between .notdef and .notdef.elm? Thank you. Is seems that FontLab 8 created a .notdef.elm glyph... beside the .notdef I do not remember creating that glyph! 🤔 🤷‍♂️ Do I need the .notdef.elm?
