  I remember once in elementary school we where talking about snakes. Somebody said ⸜some snakes are as big as this room!⸝ While I believe they meant length, I thought cross section diameter. Was scared for weeks. This image of snakes still pops in my mind from time to time.

  My spouse used to stay at work until like 10PM, so I was home with my pre-driving child. “Be home by sun down!” I would say in the summer. Now that my child is an adult they ratted me out, ⸜dad would let me stay out until 9PM when I was young⸝ they said, said they. You're welcome.

  Kitchen tip of the day! Yea, I hove one every day. But if plan on using that clean button on your over that sort of just burn stuff. Leave your cast iron pots in there. They have never looked more clean the now. They do need reseasoning after, but that is not hard.

  @elfin A cup & a spoon feel like a measurement that evolved over years to mean something. Somebody pulled a liter out of their 🍑. Let's at least not use base 10, let use something that can be broken up into thirds, & halfs without using saying 0.333…. Base twelve? Like, what is a dozen eggs in metric?
