A cup & a spoon feel like a measurement that evolved over years to mean something. Somebody pulled a liter out of their 🍑.
Let's at least not use base 10, let use something that can be broken up into thirds, & halfs without using saying 0.333…. Base twelve? Like, what is a dozen eggs in metric?
