  My son wanted to play old games. We connected our old Wii. Optical drive’s broken, and it didn’t keep its configuration, so no luck there. Then we tried the Wii U, with low expectations. It works beautifully, everything is there, can play Wii games too, and Wii U games look fantastic for their age (currently playing Paper Mario Color Splash). The GamePad was an awful idea, though. Will try to get a Wii U Pro controller if I can get one cheap. Surprised by it. 😎👍 #retrogaming #wiiu #nintendo

  Ok, native English speakers, clear this out for me: how do you pronounce “Forgejo”? Is it like “Forsh-joe”? Is it “Forge(like “forget”)-joe”? Is it “For-je-hoe”? Honestly, for non-native speakers it’s sometimes a guessing game, and since you probably never heard it from a native speaker there’s a high chance you completely mispronounce the word. 😅 #forgejo #englishpronunciations

  I don’t give YouTube much information to use to target their ads (I don’t allow ad cookies or personalized ads), so it normally offers me generic ads, based on location. Motherfuckers are showing me ads for fur coats… 😭 #animalcruelty

  It never ceases to amaze me the extremes the internet can reach. On one side, you can see bigotry and hate, from very miserable people. On the other, you find the most wonderful people, doing extremely interesting and amazing projects. I’d love for it to be mostly of the latter. #internet #nicepeople

  And speaking of the Viet Cong (May the 4th!), I saw a video on a YouTube British channel talking about the Vietnamese North-South express railway high speed rail, and it had an overwhelming “How dare these farmers build this, when we can’t!” vibe to it. And it made me realize that the two biggest Capitalist countries (USA and the UK) are unable to build HSR, while two Communist countries (China and Vietnam) seem to have no problems. 🤷‍♂️ #highspeedrail #imperialistmentality #capitalism
