My son wanted to play old games. We connected our old Wii. Optical drive’s broken, and it didn’t keep its configuration, so no luck there. Then we tried the Wii U, with low expectations. It works beautifully, everything is there, can play Wii games too, and Wii U games look fantastic for their age (currently playing Paper Mario Color Splash). The GamePad was an awful idea, though. Will try to get a Wii U Pro controller if I can get one cheap. Surprised by it. 😎👍 #retrogaming #wiiu #nintendo
