  I've tried to cancel my Wells Fargo credit card many times this year. I've tried over the phone, I tried online, and I even went into a branch office while in California. I haven't used the account for years - what more can I do to tell them I'm not interested.

  I won't be at Swift Island this year but it is a unique conference in a beautiful location. Unique how? Well the sessions are workshops based around the new things announced by Apple at WWDC and in the past there have been activities including morning yoga or a run an evening of star gazing or biking to the ocean.   Swift/Java people - This may be a stupid question. The W3C's epub validator is a jar file that can be executed from the command line. Is this something that can be easily wrapped in a small swift app? I.e. can you call a jar file from a swift Mac app and pipe the output. Do you need to install Java on your Mac to do so? I clearly haven't thought about this much but woke up wondering if I could replace this use of Docker and remembered @airspeedswift 's session at Serv...

  Friends in Japan or those who know - in addition to tourist tips I’m interested in * a vegetarian sushi class. I love fish but in the US would be unlikely to buy that quality fish and would love to learn techniques for shaping rice for onigiri and sushi that use vegetables. Also I’d be interested in * a Go club or place that’s friendly to beginners and might have a class Any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated

  I've just revised my try!Swift talk on AsyncSequence. There's a lot there. I always want a talk to go well but being invited back to this conference after ten years means a lot to me and I particularly want it to justify them bringing me such a long way. #tryswift

  I'm starting to plan my fall tour. I've just said yes to a "new to me" conference outside of the world of iOS and Swift. My schedule is starting to fill up - I'm still hoping to be invited back to some of my favorites.

  If you haven’t yet heard, Klaus announced during the close of this years Pragma Conf that it would be the last one. Luis announced during the close of NsSpain that he couldn’t say that there would be a conference next year. Times are tough for conference organizers- many are supporting the event and the community with long hours and often their own money. I have no fix - I’m just hoping you’ll show the ones who are still performing this act of kindness for the community your love and support
