"AOC unveils Q27G20SM gaming monitor" It took me nearly a minute to remember AOC is a hardware company and that this wasn't some sort of an interview with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in which she showed off her gaming rig. I may spend too much time reading politics.

A bit over 50 years ago, Waterloo by ABBA came out and invited controversy with a buncha folks complaining that it trivialized war casualties. It was a simpler time. I wish the top of mind thing for people these days was possibly careless metaphors for romantic mixups.

I talked to one of the engineers on my team today. There are some frustrating communication hiccups between two locations collaborating on a project. And after pointing out some issues, he goes: "Look, I don't want to be Poilievre here, I'm not just complaining to complain." Timbit Trump's legacy just may be becoming a Canadian slang word for talentless, visionless, irritating, solution-free complaining. #Canada #cdnpoli

If it's only me around, he will invite me to sit with him and he will explain what he's doing, but will play solo. I finally concluded he just thinks I suck at...

Instructions for the one and only correct way to eat popcorn: 1. Put popcorn in a large bowl and place the bowl within reach 2. Grab a fistful of popcorn with one hand 3. Use the other hand to grab a smaller amount of popcorn from the first hand 4. Put exactly one popcorn from the hand with the smaller amount into your mouth and consume it Repeat steps as appropriate, until no more popcorn exists on the premises. This is the only legal stopping point when eating popcorn.

I am generally a news junky, but it appears I just started avoiding... Like. Everything. Mastodon included. It wasn't really planned, I just realized I stopped wanting to tap all these phone icons that get the batshit craziness of today's world flooding my brain. I am sure that will go away. It always does. But I think, for the moment, I'mma be a bit less online.
