when it comes to #psychology and #mentalhealth I've read a decent number of #books on the topic. I think the best I've read are: - David D. Burns' Feeling Good (CBT generally including anxiety, depression) - Sue Johnson's Hold Me Tight (romantic/marital relationships) - Peter Kramer's Against Depression (on why depression is not a creative gift or sign of moral incompetence, biological underpinnings) Peter Rutter's Sex in the Forbidden Zone has a...

The projects functionality in chatgpt shows promise but lacks some basic functionality - e.g. sorting, reordering, nesting. Is anyone aware of code out there to manage / override the projects UI? I've done some basic vibe coding but haven't had great success. Strange to me, but they only show a few projects at a time, you have to paginate through them and the API grunts about auth. I see some projects on github, etc. but I'm not seeing anything focused on projects par...

I've been using ClickUp for a few months now...and like every other productivity tool I've used over the last number of years it has its pros and cons. It's got a lot of features but sometimes pretty basic features don't "just work" - and that makes me unhappy. ๐Ÿ™ For example, right now I have some recurring tasks that will not allow an update to their due date manually. If I set a new date it resets back to the original date. Even more concerni...

this is mainly for me: https://github.com/davidshq/forgetfulme I've vibe coded it - expect code quality to reflect this. It's a browser extension for tracking what one has read. Its kind of Diigo, Memex, etc. but much more limited. I wanted something that I could shove stuff into without having it clutter what I want to save in systems like Diigo, Memex, Raindrop, etc. #vibecoding #browser #extension

At an upcoming conference I'll be giving a lightning talk to entrepreneurial ecosystem builders on how leadership in companies can work effectively with their technical team. For my fellow techies - I'd love to hear from you the biggest pain points and successful methods you've found for working with non-technical leadership. I'd also love to hear from non-techies the same. What are the biggest pain points and what successful methods have you found in working wi...

Found this article quite interesting: https://news.ucsc.edu/2025/09/smart-device-ai-bioelectronics-speed-up-wound-healing/ It's interesting from an AI perspective because it uses a camera essentially embedded in a bandage to send rapidly collected images of a wound (continued over time) to an AI which evaluates the stage of the wound and how it is healing and which then has the device apply appropriate treatments. I was surprised to see that the treatment it applies for anti-inflammato...

#ChatGPT is killing me a little bit with the way it loads Projects. It doesn't seem to cache them on the client so every time you try to view your projects it loads them bit by bit...and it's painful. Is anyone aware of a ChatGPT client that downloads projects and perhaps has other functionality I'd be interested in? ๐Ÿ™‚ #question #ai #openai

curious what #developers are using for display on #Linux? I made the transition to #wayland from #x11 several years ago but the #remote access is still freaking frustrating. I've used #Gnome #RDP, #RustDesk, and others. #question #help
