I am always amused when Bristol City Council need me to reconfirm our electoral roll info. Their website needs two security codes to login, plus my postcode. Two seperate codes. Guess how these are communicated to me... go on... guess! Email. One single email. Nice and secure. Why not just make it one code? Heck, why not just make it a link I can click without having to copy and paste two codes?

If we have to have AI data centres, perhaps we need guardrails such as: - Must build their own clean energy sources - Must recycle water/cooling - Must have 20% accessible compute in the form of a subsidised shop for memory and storage

Hooray, he's kicked the ball. Now the ball's over there. That man has it now. That's an interesting development. Maybe he'll kick the ball. He has indeed, and apparently that deserves a round of applause.

I like the idea of Glastonbury but I would want helicopter transport to the nearest Premier Inn and my own toilet. #TOTP

I am not sure how I ended up with a “OneLink" account that has saved my credit card details. I assume it was part of some dark pattern on a shopping website I used at some point. One of these “Save your details for faster checkout" except it works on multiple websites. *delete account*

Emma's car battery was so flat (this is not the start of a joke) that the central locking wouldn't unlock the car. When we did get it open, it wouldn't lock (manually or electronically). Ended up having to buy a battery charger from Argos.

I wonder what a DPD x Twitch colab would look like? Cheering the delivery driver as they make each drop? Sub to your favourite driver?

Insurance for my cat has jumped from £46 a month to £73 per month. He has hit 15 years old and had a big operation a while back. Still, that's a lot of money for a cat who only cost £10. I could get 7 cats per month for that, or 84cpy (cats per year). Imagine the litter... i’d need to order it by the truckload from Travis Perkins.
