  I'm at the Regent Theatre to see Moulin Rouge (it's my birthday today!) and I have an upstairs (dress circle) seat I went to the upstairs bathroom, got to the sink area, and got FULLY CONVINCED THAT I WAS A VAMPIRE because I COULDN'T SEE MY REFLECTION ...turns out there weren't any mirrors at the sink area 😅😅😅 (nearly got a heart attack jfc)

  Intermission Moulin Rouge thoughts: 1. Satine is SO SPARKLY 🤩🤩🤩 2. I'd love to see this show be staged in a venue like the Spiegeltent. Same plot, same script, same music, etc - but in a space where the separation between audience and performance is not that stark.   I'm not really on here much, but just an update: My dad passed away April 11th, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. I've been in Malaysia the past month to see off dad's last days & also deal with a mountain of logistics. On my way back to Melbourne tonight.
