Ummm… I think I made a knob with too _little_ friction. This is at least an easier starting point than too much friction. I really don’t feel like mucking around with the greases and gels that professional encoders use though. Hmmm.

I built a riser for the corner of my desk, and I think it really opens things up. The 6 GHz LeCroy SDA760Zi-A is perched above everything else surveying its domain. I probably need to move the microscope clamp mount a bit, but I think this is going to work!

I should always just search aliexpress before I start designing a board. $8 and shipped next week. Now I skip to working on my SpinalHDL DisplayPort IP.
