Blows my mind that there is a culling going on in plain sight, and no one is perturbed. They're OK with it? Or they're in denial? Maybe they think they're invincible? Are people straight-up 1930s Nazi eugenicists? This is the U.S., after all, maybe they are. It's stochastic murder. It's crimes against humanity. I get that some are more risk averse than others, but with the stakes this high, isn't the risk too great? You could get killed, or worse, hurt. "We want t...

Found the goose bumper sticker on etsy, then found a few other things as well.

I believe I have a diagnosis for my mom's AC. Corroded compressor terminals. One wire corroded completely off. Three-terminal device with only two terminals connected. There are all sorts of compressor repair kits on the market. Going to recommend this one and see whether Mom approves. Still cheaper than a service call. And you know if someone came out, they would tell her she needs a new system. There is no room to work on this thing. I had to reach in with my phone, take a picture, then...

"We, as criminal defense attorneys, are forced to deal with some of the lowest people on earth. People who have no sense of right and wrong. People who will lie to get what they want in court. People who do not care who gets hurt in the process. It is our job, our sworn duty as criminal defense lawyers, to protect our clients from those people." Cynthia Rosenberry, DePaul professor and founding member of the Georgia Innocence Project.

Saw a toot about needing stuff you just threw away, so I have to add my two cents. I was cleaning up and talking to myself in Mac's voice from Midwest Magic Cleaning on YouTube, "Are you really going to regret not keeping that piece of 50-year-old rusty galvanized pipe?" No, of course not, get rid of it. Mere days later: "Slide a piece of old pipe over the motor shaft and hammer the fan blade hub to break it loose." It never fails!

Moderator: Please can you restore chocolate bars to their original size, i.e. from the '70s? Count Binface: Is it things like Toblerones? Shall I invade Switzerland? Chocolate oranges? I could fire chocolate oranges at Switzerland until they obey. https://youtube.com/shorts/Qc7WdBdx6rw

Funny how "you do you" only applies to people who want to endanger others and spread disease. Why am I wearing a mask? Why is that any of your business? I'm doing me. Why are you not wearing a mask? When I was a kid, people used to say, "It's a free country." Have not heard anyone say that in a long time. #CovidIsNotOver

Funniest kitchen gadget story I ever heard was when Jacques Torres was trying to buy one of those hand-held mini butane torch things to carmelize the sugar on a crème brûlée. He was down on Canal Street trying to explain what he wanted to the store owner who was not a native English speaker. Suddenly, the light bulb goes on, and the guy exclaims, "Oh! you want to smoke crack!"

Just fyi, if you post shortened links, number one I am not going to follow them, number two I am probably not going to follow you either. Nothing personal, it's a policy decision.

I guess age verification is the wrong term. They're not actually verifying, at least not yet. PII collection or (prelude to) identity theft would be better ways to say it. Have I been pwned? Yes you have. Or if you haven't, just give it a little time.
