  @neil I'm old enough to know. In my early childhood my dad was hacking student registrations at Leeds University using a valve computer that filled an old chapel. He cut the cost of major print runs by modem connecting the UCCA (later UCAS) Cheltenham mainframe to mainframes at largest UK Universities in the early seventies, in the late seventies providing videotex information to schools over Prestel.

  @neil You don't need to cook to a very high standard for it to be healthier for your body and finances to be able to cook for yourself and loved ones than having all your food cooked for you. The more you do this the better you will get, I've been cooking for 60 years and am still learning new things.
