@LJ it’s also legit, in a Lyme disease endemic area, to go ahead and do a course of doxy instead of waiting for test results (if you’re in early infection you might get a false negative blood result) speaking as one who lived on LI where it was safe to assume if you had an embedded deertick, you had Lyme exposure, and it’s way way easier to nip the infection of a spirochete in the bud.
