  I'm so glad I picked this book up. What an emotional rollercoaster ride! At times it was difficult to read because it was so heartbreaking. In other parts I felt such joy that I smiled ear to ear.   I picked this up today. I'm only a few pages in and I can tell it will be great. I've read many hockey books and only a handful mention the toxic hockey culture in Canada. Books by Sheldon Kennedy and Theo Fleury come to mind.   I got my copy today. In the foreword Keith Jopling says,"I don't bother to listen to singles, even new singles by favorite bands and artists. I'm happy to wait and hear them in the context of the album. I'm back into reading album reviews and devouring end-of-year best -of lists."   Picked up this book at the beginning of the month. Dug in to it today. "Tom, the bride's old flame, was strewn upon the ground, tangled up in the wires of his Walk-Man, passed underneath his car."
