@neatnik@social.lol - How do I add archives to a weblog.lol site? I found the /tag option, but the obvious /archive or /archives does nothing.

Hey @neatnik@social.lol - I successfully used the API and Claude to vibe code a script to migrate 900 blogs over the morning! However, I think I found a bug. Weblog.lol does not work if there are spaces in the URL. I know spaces in the URL are bad, and the vast majority of mine are fine. I worked around it by having the script rewrite the URL before importing. However, before I did that, the post would import but not publish if the source URL (the slug tag in the metadata of the source posts)...

Hey @neatnik@social.lol - Why aren't preview images working on these posts from Blot? They test fine on the social media preview test sites. Blog post - camping at Laurel Hill State Park in SW PA https://blog.odonnellweb.com/laurel_hill_sp_26 #blog #camping #PA #birds

An article about Bluesky struggling to make money. If only there was a decentralized social media platform whose users have been predicting this for years, but Fast Company is apparently unaware of our existence. Maybe that is a good thing. https://www.fastcompany.com/91528304/bluesky-set-out-to-fix-social-media-now-its-running-into-familiar-problems

Watched UHF tonight. Or rewatched. If you are old enough to understand all the cultural and media references it holds up quite well. If you were born this century it is probably incomprehensible. But the little indie station fighting media consolidation plot line is a little too on the nose in 2026.

I was randomly poking around Gopher tonight, and I stumbled into something. Fidonet still exists, and people are talking on it. Back in 1995, the ability to post something on FidoNet and get a response from the other side of the planet the next day was absolutely miraculous.
