    For the #BikeTooter crowd of the road/gravel/cyclocross persuasion (because of combo brake/shifter levers on drop bars): Do you ever use your ring finger to shift to a harder gear? Most of the time I use my middle finger. However, I can say that I definitely do this when accelerating from a stop, especially at the start of a cyclocross race, because of grabbing the hoods so hard while sprinting.

    I see lots of new #FreeCAD users expressing frustration about the process of importing and converting mesh files (like STLs) to be inconvenient and/or unintuitive.     Glad to have this bike back in action. It hasn’t seen much use since #cyclocross season, mostly due weather and darkness, but it also needed a new cassette, chain, and chainring. For the time until next CX season, I put some new Kenda gravel tires on it because I’ll occasionally take it on some trails or rough roads. It’s nice to have options. This is probably my favorite bike that I own. (I call it the 17-pound Wonder) #Cycling #BikeTooter

    I think my lunch today was a challenge to see how many ways I could eat chickpeas: there were whole chickpeas, hummus, and falafel. A delicious challenge, gladly accepted.

    Even though this is Mastodon, I’m willing to bet that most of you were not kept awake last night because your brain wouldn’t stop thinking about tensegrity structures.
