  Last weekend I went to Liffey Falls with my wife. It's a 45 minute return walk, apparently. We were overtaken by quite a few walkers who passed us again on their way back. It took us nearly 3 hours, but we touched, smelled, listened, and saw a lot of flora. It wasn't really the season for tasting.   In Campbell Town, central Tasmania, they have a statue of Elizabeth Furlong. She was part of a farming dynasty that helped introduce Merino sheep to Australia. I like the way the town commemorate socio economic achievement rather than politico military like so many do.
