  When driving back from the grocery store on a four lane road adjacent to a nature preserve, the car in front of me came to an abrupt stop. Thankfully I was able to stop before running into them. Wondering what caused the quick halt, I thought it may be a Sandhill Crane making its way across the road, but I didn't see anything that tall. Instead, two smallish adult ducks came into view, followed by eight little tiny ones faithfully following their brave leaders. Brought a smile to my face...

  Just had a pleasant phone call with Wind River, the makers of the Corinthian Bells wind chimes that were gifted to me about 20 years ago. They've broken and are a tricky to restring. Wind River will restring them for only $30 plus return shipping. Includes a new ring and industrial metal crimp to keep strings tight beneath the ring. I've removed all the original string, and scrubbed everything clean. Wind sail has lost some paint, but kind of gives it character. Only $7 if I want it rep...

  At least someone is trying to do something. Yesterday, a resolution introduced in the US House to initiate Impeachment based on 13 Articles of Impeachment.
