  Trainer asked me to get some heavy bruising checked out by the NHS doctors. NHS got me in quickly, even on Sunday. Immediate blood tests. Saw the doctor quickly, then we just had to await the results of the test. Bad news - I failed the blood test.   Skull and Bones Year 3 is a major rework, and I like it. The new Galleon ship is great fun, and the added difficulty tiers are about right. The Seasonal Skill Tree is great too. Some -major- upgrades on that system and it really lets you tweak it to your own playstyle, with free resets allowing experimentation.   Tried a fresh start (new XBox account) on #skullandbones - the Ubisoft Pirate game. Seen folk claiming they needed help, that it was hard, that you can’t level up, etc. Would Just like to say - bollocks! 😂 10 hours in, (unassisted, unboosted) and I have a level 12 ship and, if it wasn’t for the story-lock, would be ready for Tier 2! It is SO much easier now than 2 years ago. And the new cutscenes and New Player Experience made it a lot more fun. Now, just have to work through all the story...

  Funny thing I noticed about some #dutch language today. Like #danish , it shares some words with Scots. Not the spelling, but the pronunciation can be almost identical. The one I found today in some 1720s “pirate” literature: Steenkerk.   I noticed around twenty years ago that insects in Europe were in serious decline. It didn’t even need a ‘scientific study’ and I use the same methodology today. In the 1980s, in summer, when I drove in Europe, the windscreen of my car was covered in dead insects after only 100km of driving. By the early 2000s this was no longer true. The Shikarri detest darkstone and mutation, and their Crusaders aim to wipe it from the galaxy. Tesco boss gives himself millions in a payrise, full-time Tesco employees are so poorly paid that they have to claim Tax Credits (state benefit) to pay their bills, but the company installed twice as many SS tills as operator ones. In my adult life I was a combat soldier, rugby player, full-contact ring fighter, endurance runner, off-road unicyclist, etc. The covid lockdown let my years catch up with me, and now the body won’t do the things I expect it to any more. Okay, I’m retired, but it is shocking how difficult something like walking over the Pennines is now compared to 5 years ago. Finding an exercise routine that doesn’t just ‘hurt’ is difficult. 😂

  Bought yet another garden camera for Sylvie. This one is part of a #Birdfy bird feeder. It should strap nicely to our cherry tree. If I find a good spot, it will have a view of the fat-ball feeders too. Have it charging now, then will fill and fit it tomorrow. Wildlife Cameras were the only things she wanted as gifts, and it makes sense, us being on the edge of wilderness.   @erikcats@dice.camp Didn’t want to clutter your dice cup post with irrelevance, so… Our dice superstition got so bad that we are forced to use Dice Towers, a huge pool of dice, and each die only gets rolled once until we have worked our way through the entire pool. 😂 We tried many different dice colours, manufacturers, materials, cups, trays, gaols, etc., first. Only the dice towers and single-use-per-die makes us feel like WE are not responsible, in any way, for the disgusting results. 🤪 😳
