so the (not that) old radio clock thingy somehow stopped synchronizing time with dcf77. maybe züri is just a bit far away (but it used to work?), maybe there is a bit too mich noise in the apartment now? anyways, after thinking of solutions to fix this, it appeared to me to just google &quot;ntp to dcf77&quot; and ofc that exists, and it worked immediately, and now we have on somewhat accurate clock again https://github.com/ORelio/DCF77-Transmitter (this was my first time using an esp...

Today in &quot;small projects that took way too long&quot;: this broken outdoor floodlight from the scrap bin. I though it was only the damaged motion sensor that got it replaced, but it turns out there were failed-open LEDs, in two parallel pairs, breaking the string. After shorting them it lights up again, and I also replaced the motion sensor with a simple switch.
