Today in "small projects that took way too long": this broken outdoor floodlight from the scrap bin. I though it was only the damaged motion sensor that got it replaced, but it turns out there were failed-open LEDs, in two parallel pairs, breaking the string. After shorting them it lights up again, and I also replaced the motion sensor with a simple switch.
