The Apollo Guidance Computer created for the Apollo moon missions of the 1960s and 70s was built using custom hardware for the task, and the software running on it was hand-coded in 3 megabytes of Assembly by a small team led by Margaret Hamilton! And Mrs. Hamilton is still alive today! The #Moon orbits the Earth at a speed of about 1 km per second, while #Artemis2 is currently only traveling at about 700 m/s - which is why the orbital trajectory currently looks like this. They&#39;re not flying to where the Moon *is*, they&#39;re flying to where the Moon *will be*!
