  Friend of mine has an old and now broken wordpress site (throws errors on https, only does http). He still has his admin passwords. Is there a one-stop migration (upload the files, choose a template, repoint the dns, go) to something else? Since wordpress jumped the shark, upgrading there doesn't make a lot of sense.

  Received 20 more kg of pickles, podi, and bar snacks from India. Beginning the process of packaging them up for an American audience. Using simple labels like “hot” and “really hot.”

  Today’s harvest is small candy-stripe eggplant, purple tomatillo, Thai red chili. Will add several heads of garlic, it all gets oven roasted with some olive oil. Makes a killer cross between a green salsa and babaganoush. Add an avocado for guacamole or just use as is as a salsa.

  In the no question is too stupid to ask and forgiving my authorship of a half-dozen books on the subject of Ethernet and its uses, I have a question. If you are feeding power over Ethernet (POE) into devices that don't use POE, you can't hurt them, right? (I have POE ports and non-POE ports on my switches, but do I care if a hot cable goes into a device that doesn't need or use it?)

  Artichokes from the front yard. No ants or aphids this year. Very happy. Hurrah for neem. Also, my pomegranate harvest looking good for this early. This is one of two trees. Will need to do some serious branch support when they start to firm.

  We had a potluck dinner at the local watering hole, the Elephant in the Room, to celebrate the first game of the season. Being in receipt of 5kg of Athula's wonderful "spicy bhel blast" ( https://athulanirmitiorganics.com/product/spicy-bhel-blast/ ) I packaged some up in popcorn containers and perhaps took liberty with some well-known trademarks because nobody will notice and I thought it was funny.

  Having successfully brought home from India 48.3 kg of DVDs that my friend Lawrence gave me (he has a ph.d in film studies from JNU so his collection is absolutely amazing) I am proceeding to jellyfinify my luggage to place these videos on the mac mini in my basement. Everyone has to have a hobby, and this one is now mine.
