  Cooking is a big part of my steez (I cook most days, most meals). While a lot of people tend to show off their own recipes, I love following other people’s #recipes. I think I’m going to make more of an effort to share what I’m cooking, if that’s your thing.

  The most effective security training I’ve ever seen was a GitHub security engineer who quietly traveled between unlocked, unattended laptops at a company all-hands, posting the phrase “poopin” to the owner’s Twitter account. A whole company educated forever in 48 hours. Mythos sounds scary but imagine a sanctioned, corporate white hat phishing agent with a similarly benign payload. Everyone would stay on their does, *knowing* it was coming for them.

  @ObsidianUrbex I just discovered your account and your work is awesome. Any chance you'd consider updating the RSS feed on your website with the same stuff you post here? I'm building an app for following visual-focused RSS feeds (https://getlightwatch.app/) and while Mastodon RSS works fine, your dedicated RSS would be more ideal. However, it hasn't been updated in a couple of years and seems to only include one image per post, vs the multiple you share here.

  I'm seeing a ton of weird #swiftui ui bugs in iPad simulators that don't exist in the iPhone simulators. Is this a known thing? I still can't tell if this is a me problem. Scrolling doesn't work in many ScrollViews. Taps in toolbar items go through to the content behind them. Some taps don't even make it to the toolbar. If I restart my computer, this doesn't happen, but then after a few interactions it starts. I don't see this behavior on...

  I find it funny how *impossible* it is to search for any Dribbble meta content. Want to contact Dribbble support? Here are a whole bunch of designs of support pages. Want to see if Dribbble has RSS feeds? Here's a bunch of designs of RSS logos. It's nigh in possible to google anything about Dribbble itself.

  Last week I started two large projects: Cleaning up the largely ignored Mac part of my multiplatform app and adding iCloud sync with SQLiteData. I now have iCloud syncing beautifully with very little effort (thanks to PointFree's work on SQLiteData) and I'm very close to deciding I don't need a Mac version of the app.

  RE: https://mastodon.social/@cameronmcefee/114452651990979340 I'm still trying to get the hang of urgent reminders flow, and the lack of siri/shortcut support is annoying, but overall, this is exactly the feature I've wanted. They are out of sight until needed, they're obnoxious when they go off, and one I didn't expect: the stay on the lock screen until you deal with them. I love it.

  It is wild that I can watch as my computer does a major architectural refactor — that would have taken weeks a few years ago — while I cook dinner, and merge it while I do the dishes. Absolutely wild.
