I was saddened to hear that the price for what omg.lol offers will soon more than double. Of course, I understand Adam’s arguments and fully support them. It offers many interesting and unique features for the community, and when you consider what you get, it’s a small fee. But as I only use the Mastodon instance (social.lol), the upcoming fee seems high. I’m wondering what to do next. Should I switch instances? Or perhaps stay here for now, renew my subscription for another year at the current...

I haven&#39;t written anything on my blog for a month. It&#39;s not because nothing interesting has been happening. It&#39;s because a lot has been going on, but the kind of things I didn&#39;t want to write about publicly. I think it&#39;s time to consider a paper journal for these sorts of occasions.
