@GossiTheDog My first hot take to “We are not releasing Mythos because it’s too good” was that they were hiding something. Or they needed to convince large companies that it was sooooo good that they better pony up. “You’ve never had coke this pure, not sure it’s safe to sell it to you.”

Some atmospheric ducting is connecting the greater Austin #meshcore mesh to Southeastern Louisiana … well at least some packets are making it through, even from as far as Biloxi MS.

I’ve been off news and the Fediverse all day. My hot take is that Anthropic’s claim that they are holding back the next model because it is (air quotes) “too good” at finding vulnerabilities… could this just be a Musk-like stock pump to cover, say, a failure to deliver on results? (Hot take without reviewing what the community has already deciphered)

Daniel Moreno-Gama, the alleged arsonist behind the attacks on Sam Altman’s home and place of business, should demand a jury trial. I’m not condoning violence. Innocent people could have been injured or killed. Still, his best bet is a jury trial.

Anyone using a 3rd party SSO Identity Provider for their #homelab or family? I started down this rabbit hole with looking at providers for #tailscale which include Okta and OneLogin (as well as Github, Google, Apple, and Microsoft) and I was considering a OneLogin... thoughts? -- Added later: This is for a family, so I need flexible options suitable for non-techies.
