  Moki Dugway Bears Ears National Monument, UT I'd already driven part way down when I leaned out my window to take this photo. Valley of the Gods is just out of frame to the left.   Cinnamon Bear Uncompahgre National Forest, CO I was sitting in my camp chair with my long lens hoping for some pretty birds to pose for photos when I caught movement up the small valley.   "First Light" 😎 Got my smart telescope yesterday just in time for a week of clouds. But caught a bit of a break this morning. Hardly know what I'm doing even after reading the manual and watching videos. This is downloaded from the scope to my phone, uploaded onto my desktop and cropped in Affinity with only a little bit of brightness and contrast.   Total Eclipse of the Sun August 21, 2017 There will be a total solar eclipse across a great swath of North America next April. I met with friends to camp in the middle of Wyoming to capture this photo using my long lens with special filtering film covering the objective.   Coyote Petroglyph National Monument, NM Sort of a twist on #WildlifeWednesday if you will allow it.
