One month to the close of nominations for the municipal elections. I don't know what bothers me most: -Incumbents who have not yet declared if they're running or not; -All the ridings with no candidates; -All the ridings with only the incumbent; -Candidates who registered on 1 May whose websites still say "Coming Soon!"; -Incumbents with no online presence; -Incumbents with websites not updated since 2022… Check out #WaterlooRegion candidates: https://poliblog.jonkman.ca/Poli...

#BikeNite A6: I don&#39;t take many photos when biking. The oldest that&#39;s easily accessible is from the #Waterloo #CriticalMass ride in 2010, with many riders in costumes. The Transformer was skateboarding... (Edit: the CriticalMass *Halloween* ride of course. They weren&#39;t all like that) The most recent photo is of damage to a bike lane, probably from a car that pushed the concrete curb blocks into the bike lane. Not much good for protection from traffic, apparently. @as...
