Lots of updates to #WaterlooRegion's municipal candidate info! https://poliblog.jonkman.ca/Poliblog-Elections/2026-10-26-Municipal-Election/ It's just over two months into the campaign with less than two months to the close of candidate registrations (21 August). I'm a bit alarmed at how many positions still have no candidates, and the many incumbents who have not declared whether they're running, not running, or still thinking it over. It's a big disservice to others who might consider running if they knew the incumbent isn't. #ONpoli #WRpoli
