I&#39;ve only found out about and have been educated on the Fediverse this morning! I&#39;m very excited to share my work here with ya&#39;ll. My brother gave me his old google pixel (for free 🥺 so nice of him!) and I put GrapheneOS on it! Currently waiting for a case + tempered glass screen protector I ordered to show up before I migrate over to it. I&#39;m excited to finally have a more privacy focused experience. I&#39;ve been on a journey to degoogle my life for some time now, but finding a new phone that suits my needs has been tricky. I&#39;m very grateful to have been given this one! ^u^

Web programming is amazing. You get to spend hours learning and researching a new back end language, a bit of time setting up a database, and wiring up the front end, and then FINALLY you get to show the entire world a unstyled HTML page that just shows the catch you just reeled in. 🙃I kid. I find this stuff quite rewarding. Also look, I caught a treasure! (currently a 5% chance with my current logic let&#39;s gooooo)

In an attempt to combat pre/post sleep doom scrolling, to encourage myself to read more, and to encourage myself to process my thoughts and emotions, I have converted my bedroom into a tech free zone! Last night was the first night with no phone or other electronics near me. I got restless and just as anticipated, I turned my lamp on and read a book : ) I&#39;m also thinking of keeping a journal and pen near my books. My fishing game is coming along well! Currently you can create an account, catch fish, sell them, and buy new equipment which will increase your stats. My next feature I&#39;m going to implement is experience and levels, to aid in the sense of progression and accomplishment!
